Last night we had a nice talk about what happened just 64 years ago in Hiroshima. There were about 10 of us at the meeting and the talk brought about interesting ways of talking about the event: how can we think about it, what can we judge, what can be learned from it? how come the A-Bomb is special in comparison to other means of death and destruction. The talk pointed to ideas as "war etiquette", mentioned things like the Stanford experiment etc.
After dinner people fell asleep watching Kubrik's Dr. Strangelove.
