Montly Focus - Mise en Place

As there are more people using the space lately it seems that a new need arises. 'Mise en place' is a phrase borrowed from the culinary world and it refers to an integral part of cooking: preparing to cook (clean the place, have the tools handy, have the right spices near, chop everything to the size needed for cooking). That also means that cooking is done only when everything is in place for the next shift to use. This is what we're going to get closer to this month. There could be many ways to achieve it but the essential is that 'the next shift' is able to use the space they expected. This is just another form of the idea that we are caring about the people around us and enable everybody to pursue their interests. While there is no black and white about this issue there is a lot we can do.
