Who are we?‎ > ‎

Welcome, you just arrived to my great profile ;o)

I came to Berlin in August 2008 and after CouchSurfing for a while I ended up renting a room in the Big Pink House where I also live again after staying at the "Caravanserai" (projecthouse) for a while. The Big Pink is a flat sharing community started in February 2008, founded by CouchSurfers for CouchSurfers. There I learned about this project and directly fell in love with the idea about continuing this community spirit in a wider sense than it is possible with "only" CouchSurfing or other common hospitality projects. I want to get to know these people, you. I want to learn about the way you think. I want to explore your opinions and believes and share mine back. I want to try everything, anyone can show and teach me as well as I can help you with things I like to do and I'm good at. - What that is? For example I started studying to become a theatre technician and therefore can tell you lots of things about theatres, stages, maths and technical things. I also like to play with fire and I'm interested in juggling, dancing, various languages and playing music even though these are the things I still have to practice and learn about myself. Hm, yes I would like the day to have at least 50 hours... life seems way too short to do everything I would like to do. Luckily I'm still young enough :o)

What I would love to do next: learn to draw portraits that actually resemble the person (future test objects welcome, but so far I'm still practicing without living sufferers, hitchhike to Switzerland and buy a Hang drum for busking next winter/spring

Other exciting tasks completed that were or should have been listed on this page: doing Free Hugs campagnes, dumpsterdiving in Helsinki and Berlin and hitchhiking to Italy (more places to come?)
